Dear all,

The Ecosprinter is the online participative magazine of all young Greens of
Europe. Since many years it has published articles, documents, and papers
written by activists and young writers, helping the spreadth of youth
issues, political and social challenges from all over Europe to other young
activists, and so building a ‘pan-European space’ of expression and debate.

In these times of European Parliamentary campaign, the Ecosprinter
Editorial Board is though looking for support, and extra team members to
help out in the good functioning of the e-newspaper, and its development.

We are currently looking for three co-opted new members for the Ecosprinter
Board, for the period from now til the next G.A. (where there will be new
elections) in June 2014.

Being a board member of the Ecosprinter takes a minima 3 hours per week,
but we ask you to be sure to be able to give this minimum amount time if
you consider to apply, as we’ve suffered from lack of involvement a lot
this last year. As a board member, you’ll be responsible, as part of the
team, of editing articles, publishing them on a wordpress
website,communicate with the authors(email), impulse
new ideas for calls for articles, be pro-active in networking with
different academical, institutional, associative and political contacts and
organisations for future publications and projects, advertise the
Ecosprinter during events, do some community management (Facebook page and
Twitter).

Minimal requirements for the positions are :

- Good command of written English (for editing and writing of articles)

- Good knowledge of social media ( Facebook, Twitter)

- Availability from now til June to concentrate at least half an hour per
day, or three hours per week on the good functionment and development of
the Ecosprinter

- General access to the internet. (IMPORTANT !)

- Basic knowledge of Wordpress (The Ecosprinter is based on wordpress)

- pro-active character (willing to shake things up and impulse new
projects!)

- motivation and willingness to write articles with gaining experience in
editing and in participative press.

What we offer :

- Good experience within an international Editorial Board

- Experience in an English speaking environment

- Great editing skills.

- Opportunity to develop your ideas/ projects on fundraising, activity
planning, and to be supported in your initiatives with the board and the
executive committee of FYEG.

- Opportunity to further develop an European-wide network of NGOs, civil
society organisations, politicians and academicians on current issues.

*You can ask all your questions, and send your application ( CV + short
motivation letter explaining why you want to be part of the EEB, and what
you can bring to the team) to Marie marie at fyeg.org <marie at fyeg.org> before
the 25th of February! *

Looking forward to read you soon !

Green regards,

Your Ecosprinter Editorial Board
