Dear organizations,

do you want to evaluate the situation of education for democratic
citizenship/human rights in your country? The Council of Europe gives
you the opportunity in the framework of the assessment of the state of
its Charter on education for democratic citizenship and human rights
education, which is a document concluded by all parties to the Council
of Europe. If you think that human rights education and education for
democratic citizenship are not yet sufficiently valued in your country,
you can use the Charter as a tool for advocacy.
You find the survey here
**http://youthapplications.coe.int/Application-forms/Survey-for-NGOs
the survey is quickly done (109 ticking boxes) though you might need to
register at the website and fill today.
All the best!
Kalle

*Survey on the impact of the Charter on education for democratic
citizenship and human rights education*

The Youth Department launches a survey among non-governmental partners
(youth organisations, human rights organisations, student associations,
parents and teachers associations, etc.) to gather their input on the
impact of the Charter in these past years and to have a basis to
evaluate the ways to go further.

We are inviting all those interested and involved in human rights and
citizenship education *to complete this survey by 15 September* and
support us in making a thorough analysis of the state of play.

The survey is available in *English
<http://youthapplications.coe.int/Application-forms/Survey-for-NGOs>
*and*French
