Reporter ohne Grenzen (RSF) ist eine internationale Nichtregierungsorganisation, mit Hauptsitz in Paris. Seit über 25 Jahren ist die deutsche Sektion von Berlin aus aktiv. Reporter ohne Grenzen dokumentiert Verstöße gegen die Presse- und Informationsfreiheit
weltweit und alarmiert die Öffentlichkeit, wenn Journalist*innen und deren Mitarbeitende in Gefahr sind. Die Organisation setzt sich für mehr Sicherheit und besseren Schutz von Medienschaffenden ein und kämpft online wie offline gegen Zensur, gegen den Einsatz
sowie den Export von Überwachungstechnik und gegen restriktive Mediengesetze.<br>

Reporter ohne Grenzen e. V. sucht möglichst ab Mitte April 2021 eine*n Pressereferent*in im Referat Kommunikation.<br>
<br>
Das Referat Kommunikation recherchiert gemeinsam mit dem internationalen Sekretariat in Paris Verstöße gegen die Medienfreiheit weltweit, wertet diese aus, dokumentiert sie und macht diese öffentlich. Dies geschieht in Form von Pressemitteilungen, Berichten,
Newslettern, Posts in den sozialen Medien und öffentlichkeitswirksamen Kampagnen. Die Veröffentlichungen orientieren sich dabei eng am tagesaktuellen Geschehen. Das Referat Kommunikation agiert in enger Abstimmungen mit den Bereichen Advocacy, Nothilfe und
Stipendien sowie Fundraising.<br>

<strong>Ihre Aufgaben:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Erstellen von Pressemitteilungen, Meldungen, Berichten, Artikeln, Posts und Tweets</li><li>Das Geben von Interviews und Beantworten von Anfragen</li><li>Mittel- und langfristige Themenplanung und -identifikation</li><li>Recherche und Aufbereitung von Hintergrundinformationen für Interviews und Presseartikel</li><li>Organisation von Pressegesprächen und weiteren Veranstaltungen</li><li>Zulieferung von Social-Media-Inhalten</li><li>Korrespondenz und Kommunikation mit dem internationalen Sekretariat</li></ul>
<strong>Wir erwarten von Ihnen:</strong>
<ul>
<li>mehrjährige Arbeitserfahrung als Journalist*in und/oder eine journalistische Ausbildung (Journalistik-Studium, Volontariat oder ähnliches)</li><li>Erfahrungen in einer tagesaktuell arbeitenden Nachrichtenredaktion erwünscht</li><li>von Vorteil: zusätzliche Erfahrungen in der Pressearbeit, insbesondere bei einer NGO</li><li>Stil- und Textsicherheit auch unter Zeitdruck sowie Freude an gründlicher Recherche</li><li>sehr gute Vernetzung in deutsche Redaktionen</li><li>wünschenswert: besondere Kenntnisse der MENA-Region</li><li>Interesse an der Entwicklung der internationalen Medienlandschaft und Engagement für die Pressefreiheit</li><li>sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse und das Verständnis französischsprachiger Texte sind von Vorteil</li><li>eine Affinität zu sozialen Medien; insbesondere zu Twitter</li><li>sicherer Umgang mit Content-Management-Systemen</li><li>interkulturelle Kompetenz</li><li>hohes Maß an Zuverlässigkeit, Flexibilität und Teamfähigkeit</li></ul>
