has found world-wide many imitators who set up Hacks/Hackers
chapters. In Berlin, we aim to host regular (ideally monthly)
meetups where journalists and programmers can come together,
convene, learn from each other and/or plan their next projects
together. Usually, we have around four speakers who give a
short talk (max. 10 min) followed by a Q&A session.</span></div>

topic or project. The last meetup was of that ilk. We were at
Unicorn on Brunnenstrasse where fellows from the </span><a
href="https://www.dw.com/en/dw-akademie/dataship/s-46570656"
target="_blank"><span lang="en-US">Dataship Programme</span></a><span
lang="en-US"> (funded by GIZ/implemented by Deutsche Welle
Academy) </span><span lang="en-US">introduced their projects
and themselves. This was followed by a talk from Gianna Gruen,
Head of Data Journalism at Deutsche Welle who provided
insights into her work.</span></div>
