<p>Sustainable Digitalization - Guidelines For A Digitalization We Need For The Future We Want<br><br>Die Digitalisierung kommt.<br><br>Und in vielen Fällen ist sie bereits da. Doch noch bleibt unklar, welchen Einfluss die Digitalisierung auf unsere Gesellschaften, das menschliche Miteinander und den Planeten haben wird. Sollte die Digitalisierung wirklich ein Element für großen sozialen Wandel werden, muss sie nachhaltig, gerecht, für alle Menschen relevant sein und dem Gemeinwohl dienen. Ohne angemessen Diskussion über Vorteile oder Risiken, ohne demokratische Kontrolle oder angemessene Regulierung haben Technologien immer das Potential, nur weitere soziale, wirtschaftliche oder ökologische Probleme hervorzurufen..<br><br>Wichtige erste Schritte sind bereits getan worden, um die Rolle von Technologien und der digitalen Welt zu diskutieren. Dieser Austausch muss jedoch weiterhin geführt werden. Als Rahmen für eine wirklich nachhaltige Digitalisierung schlagen wir aus diesem Grund eines der umfangreichsten Nachhaltigkeitskonzepte vor, auf das sich die Welt jemals geeinigt hat: die 2030 Agenda mit den Zielen für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs).<br><br>2015 haben alle UN Mitgliedsstaaten die SDGs verabschiedet. Die Ziele gehen die größten Herausforderungen unserer Zeit an und schlagen eine Bandbreite von politischen Maßnahmen vor. Darunter sind Ziele, die die Verringerung von Hunger und Armut zum Ziel haben, die Schaffung nachhaltiger Ökonomien, die nachhaltige Nutzung von Ressourcen, die Schaffung von Frieden, sowie der Zugang zu freien und gerechten Institutionen und Justiz. Alle diese Aspekte sind auch für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung zentral.<br><br>Mit dem Diskussionspapier "Sustainable Digitalization - Guidelines For A Digitalization We Need For The Future We Want" (auf Englisch) wollen wir zur Diskussion über eine nachhaltige Digitalisierung beitragen. Alle darin enthaltenen Forderungen sollten als Vorschläge angesehen werden. Es sind Ideen, welche Grundbedingungen eine nachhaltige Digitalisierung umfassen sollte, ebenso wie konkrete Ideen zu einzelnen Elementen einer digitalen Welt. Mit diesen Ideen wollen wir zum Dialog mit verschiedenen Akteuren und einer Vernetzung innerhalb verschiedener Bereiche der Zivilgesellschaft beitragen.<br><br>Download: <a href="https://www.forumue.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/SDigiG-online.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.forumue.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/SDigiG-online.pdf</a></p>
