natural disasters and inequality have forced more than 70 million people

from their homes – the highest number ever.</span></p>

of the challenges facing displaced people and host communities is

access to reliable information. What role can media play in the context

of forced migration? What can be done to provide life-saving information

to affected communities? And how can media development organizations

contribute to community engagement and accountability mechanisms?</span></p>

conference brings together refugees, communication professionals and humanitarian
