nächsten Jahrgang des Masterstudiengangs "International Media Studies",
der im September 2019 in Bonn startet, werden noch bis zum 30. April 2019
entgegengenommen. </span>

<br><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">Das Masterprogramm
„International Media Studies“ richtet sich vornehmlich an Absolvent/innen
aus Entwicklungs- und Schwellenländern mit praktischer Medienerfahrung.
Der Studiengang ist ein gemeinsames Angebot der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität
Bonn, der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg und der Deutschen Welle (DW) Akademie.
In der DW Akademie finden jährlich bis zu 30 Studierende aus aller Welt
optimale Lernbedingungen vor.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">Das bilinguale Programm
wird in englischer und deutscher Sprache durchgeführt und umfasst in einem
bislang einzigartigen Studienangebot Themen wie Journalismus und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit,
Kommunikationswissenschaften und Medienwirtschaft. Das viersemestrige Vollzeitstudium
bereitet die Studierenden auf eine Karriere im Medien- und Kommunikationsbereich
vor. Nach </span><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">erfolgreichem
Abschluss der Masterarbeit wird den Absolvent/innen der akademische Titel
"Master of Arts" (M.A.) verliehen.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">Erfolgreiche
Studienbewerber/innen müssen einen Bachelor oder ein äquivalentes Studium
abgeschlossen haben und über eine mindestens einjährige Berufserfahrung
im Medienbereich nach Abschluss des Erststudiums verfügen. Außerdem sind
deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse nachzuweisen.</span>

Studierende aus </span><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">Entwicklungs-

next intake of the Master’s Program "International Media Studies",
starting in September 2019, are still being accepted until the 30^th
April 2019. </span>
<br><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">The Master's Program
"International Media Studies" is especially designed for graduates
from developing and transition countries with previous media experience.
</span><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">The
IMS program is a joint project of the University of Bonn, the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg
University of Applied Sciences and Deutsche Welle (DW) Akademie. DW Akademie
offers a perfect learning environment for up to 30 students per year.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">The bilingual
study program is conducted in English and German combining topics such
as media and development, journalism, communication science and media economics.
</span><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">The full-time, four-semester
Master’s degree offers an unparalleled mix of research, lectures and practical
experience and prepares students for careers in the communications and
media industries.</span><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">
Students conclude the course with a Master’s thesis and receive the academic
degree "Master of Arts" (M.A.). </span>

<div><span style=" font-size:11pt;color:#2f2f2f;font-family:Arial">Successful
applicants need to provide proof of their language skills in both German
and English. They must have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
as well as at least one year of professional experience in a media-related
field after having obtained their first academic title.</span>

from developing and transition countries can apply for a full scholarship.
