<p><span style="font-size: medium;font-family: helvetica;">Mit der diesjährigen Fachkonferenz lenken wir die Aufmerksamkeit auf Migrant*innen als Medienschaffende und auf Organisationen, die sie repräsentieren. </span></p>
<p class="default-style"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;font-family: helvetica;"><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">Die Diversität in unserer Gesellschaft wächst und die kulturelle, </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">sprachliche und religiöse Vielfalt prägt immer stärker </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">unseren Alltag. Eine der zentralen Aufgaben der </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">massenmedialen Kommunikation sollte es sein, diese </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">Entwicklung als unsere gemeinsame Realität anzunehmen </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">und positiv zu gestalten. Sie sollte Partizipation und </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">Repräsentation in der Gesellschaft ermöglichen. </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">Da sie in etablierten Medien jedoch unterrepräsentiert sind, </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">setzen sich Migrant*innen selbst für ihre Rechte, für </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">Gehör und Toleranz ein – gegen Rassismus und Hass. </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">Mit den erweiterten Möglichkeiten der Selbstrepräsentation </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">in den digitalen Medien und durch den Aufbau einer </span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);">eigenen Medienpraxis tragen sie zur Gestaltung </span></span><span style="color: rgb(0,0,50);font-size: 12.0pt;font-family: helvetica;">eines gesellschaftlichen „Wir“ bei. </span></p>
