<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; line-height: 13pt;"><font style="font-size: 11pt;">The University of Westminster’s Communication and Media Research Institute (CAMRI) is calling for papers for an international conference on ‘Comparing Children’s Media Around the World: Policies, Texts and Audiences’. Please find the Call attached. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; line-height: 13pt;"><span><font style="font-size: 11pt;">CAMRI is hosting the event in the context of research the CAMRI Arab Media Centre is doing specifically on children's screen content in the Arab world; however, we want to benefit from the conference to bring people together from different regions. As you will see from the Call for Papers, there is no requirement for individual papers to be comparative although comparative research will of course be very welcome.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; line-height: 13pt;"><font style="font-size: 11pt;">The conference venue is the University of Westminster’s Marylebone campus in central London, and the date is Friday September 4<sup>th</sup>, 2015, with two pre-conference events taking place at the same location the previous day.<span> </span>Suggested research themes and other details about submission of abstracts are included in the Call for Papers.</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; line-height: 13pt;"><font style="font-size: 11pt;">We have circulated the Call through international bodies such as ECREA and IAMCR etc, <span> </span>so apologies for cross-posting. We would really appreciate it if you could please pass the notice on to colleagues and students who may be interested. The official deadline for abstracts is February 9<sup>th</sup>, with a 10-day grace period for late entries. </font></p>
