Dass man auf einer Mailingliste den "Gang/Strang schlecht nachvollziehen" kann, ist ein bisschen zu pauschal definiert. Viele Listen haben ein Archiv in denen sich die einzelnen Diskussionen gut recherchieren lassen (vgl. z.B. Freelist). </div><div><br></div><div>Gleichzeitig finde ich, dass die Debatte Facebook vs. Liste zu kurz greift. Wenn wir schon über unsere Kommunikationsmittel reflektieren, dann wären für mich wichtige medienpolitische Kriterien neben dem schon erwähnten Datenschutz, von einer non-profit-Initiative gehostet zu werden die mit open source Software arbeitet. Es geht nicht darum, ob wir soziale Netze oder Listen nutzen, sondern wie wir dies tun. Eine geschlossene Gruppe in einem sozialen Netzwerk wie z.B. n+1 die allen Datenschutzbestimmungen gerecht wird, könnte genau so gut funktionieren, wenn denn alle diesen Service nutzen würden. Tun wir aber gerade nicht und wozu in einem sozialen Netzwerk eine Kommunikationskultur imitieren, die ein Großteil der ListenteilnehmerInnen anscheinen angemessen findet. Dazu zusätzliche, gemeinsame Kommunikationsformen (z.B. Blogs) aufzubauen, ist eine andere Frage.</div><div><br></div><div>Abschließend noch mal zum direkten Vergleich: In Puncto open source sticht JPBerlin, die die FOME-Liste hosten Facebook locker aus. Was den Non-Profitcharakter angeht, bin ich mir nicht so sicher, aber zumindest müssen wir auf Grund der Datenschutzerklärung nicht befürchten, künftig mit personalisierter Werbung (z.B.
