wir möchten Sie an die <strong>Abendveranstaltung </strong>„<em>Information. Innovation. Revolution? Medienwelten und Medienwandel im deutsch-afrikanischen Kontext “</em><strong> am 10. September 2013 </strong>im Curio-Haus (Rothenbaumchaussee 11) in <strong>Hamburg </strong>erinnern<strong>, </strong>zu der wir Sie ganz herzlich einladen möchten.<br>

Die Abendveranstaltung widmet sich dem aktuellen Wandel von Medienwelten in afrikanischen Ländern und Deutschland und damit verbundenen Möglichkeiten für neue mediale Zugänge zu deutsch-afrikanischen Beziehungen.<br>
<br>
Der umtriebige und ausgezeichnete ghanaische Blogger und Social Media Unternehmer <strong>Mac-Jordan Degadjor</strong> wird einführend über die neuen Impulse, die von der rasant zunehmenden Nutzung Neuer Medien in Ghana und anderen afrikanischen Ländern ausgehen, berichten.<br>
<br>
Zusammen mit ihm, der ugandischen Bloggerin und Journalistin <strong>Rosebell Kagumire</strong>, eine der vom World Economic Forum nominierten Young Global Leaders 2013, dem Leiter der Deutsche Welle Akademie Digital, <strong>Holger Hank</strong>, und weiteren Expert_innen möchten wir anschließend darüber diskutieren, wie sich diese breite Aneignung von Informationskanälen durch die Bürger_innen auf die Qualität und die Art des Informationsangebots niederschlägt und wie der klassische Journalismus sich in diesem Umfeld positioniert.<br>

Im zweiten Teil des Abends haben Sie dann die Möglichkeit, sich mit anderen Expert_innen und Praktiker_innen aus Deutschland und vom afrikanischen Kontinent auszutauschen und die Arbeit von Blogger_innen aus Ghana, Uganda, Simbabwe und Deutschland kennenzulernen. Darüber hinaus können Sie interaktiv mit Medienschaffenden und Interessierten aus Deutschland und afrikanischen Ländern eigene Ideen entwickeln und konkretisieren.<br>

Media worlds and the changing media in the German-African context</em>” on <strong>September 10 </strong>at the<strong> Curio-Haus</strong> (Rothenbaumchaussee 11)<strong> in Hamburg</strong> and cordially invite you to participate.<br>

Please find attached the preliminary <strong>programme</strong> of the event.<br>

<strong>Mac-Jordan Degadjor</strong>, a very active and award-winning blogger and social media entrepreneur, will provide an introduction to the event by talking about the new influences and trends that the rapidly increasing use of the new media in Ghana and other African countries brings in its wake.<br>
<br>
Afterwards, Mr Degadjor, the Ugandan blogger and journalist <strong>Rosebell Kagumire</strong>, who was selected as a 2013 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, <strong>Holger Hank</strong>, head of the digital division of Deutsche Welle Akademie, and other experts will discuss how the increasing and active use of all information channels by the general population impacts the quality of information and the information offer available, and how classic journalism positions itself in that changed environment.<br>
<br>
The second part of the evening will give you an opportunity to exchange views and ideas with other experts and media representatives from Germany and from the African continent, to learn more about the work of bloggers in Ghana, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Germany, and to work interactively with media representatives and other interested participants from Germany and African countries to develop new ideas and flesh these out.<br>
