<h3>n-ost-LÄNDERSPEZIAL ZEIGT BELARUS VON INNEN</h3>
<p style="font-style: italic;">Ein neues
n-ost-Länderspezial bietet überraschende Einblicke in
das autoritär geführte Belarus. Auf über 100 Seiten
informieren Reportagen, Interviews und Fotostrecken von
deutschen und belarussischen Autoren über ein Land
zwischen Repression und Protest.</p>
<p><em>(n-ost) Berlin, 20.02.2012</em> – Das Netzwerk für
Osteuropaberichterstattung hat ein Länderheft über
Belarus herausgegeben. Auf mehr als 100 Seiten
informieren Reportagen, Interviews und Fotostrecken über
ein Land zwischen Repression und Protest. Podcasts und
Videoclips auf einer beigefügten CD des unabhängigen
belarussischen Online-Magazins 34mag zeigen die Vielfalt
des Landes.</p>
<p>„In deutschen Medienberichten haftet das Etikett der
‚letzten Diktatur‘ fest an Belarus. Wir haben
nachgeschaut, was sich darunter verbirgt“, sagt
Redaktionsleiterin Sonja Volkmann-Schluck über die
Ausrichtung des Hefts.</p>
<h4><br>
Belarussen und Deutsche recherchierten gemeinsam</h4>
<p>Oppositionelle und unabhängige Medienmacher kommen
ebenso zu Wort wie der smarte Jungunternehmer oder ein
Ökolandwirt. Analysen erklären die schwierige
wirtschaftliche und politische Lage. Fotostrecken führen
in die Hauptstadt Minsk, zu heidnischen Festen auf dem
Land oder zu belarussischen Exilanten in Berlin. </p>
<p>Texte und Fotos entstanden überwiegend während der
n-ost-Medienwerkstatt im Oktober 2011 in Minsk, auf der
rund 100 belarussische, deutsche und andere europäische
Journalisten unter teils schwierigen Bedingungen
gemeinsam recherchierten.</p>
<h4><br>
Für ein differenziertes Osteuropa-Bild </h4>
<p>„Wichtiger Bestandteil des Hefts ist der Innenblick
belarussischer Autoren auf ihr Land, der die
Außenwahrnehmung unserer Korrespondenten ergänzt“, sagt
n-ost-Geschäftsführer Hanno Gundert. </p>
<p>Mit dem neuen Format eines Länderspezials wirbt n-ost
für ein differenziertes Medienbild von Osteuropa. „Wir
werden mit dem Format künftig einmal pro Jahr ein
osteuropäisches Land genauer unter die Lupe nehmen und
es in seiner ganzen Themenvielfalt darstellen“, so
Gundert.</p>
