die ägyptische Onlineplattform „<a href="http://zabatak.com/">Zabatak.com</a>”
erhält für ihr gesellschaftliches Engagement den UN-Jugendpreis <a
href="http://www.youthaward.org/">„World Summit Youth Award“</a>.
Auf Zabatak können Bürgerinnen und Bürger Gewaltverbrechen und
Korruption anzeigen. Die gemeinnützige Initiative ist als Reaktion
auf die Zunahme von Überfällen und Plünderungen im Zuge des
ägyptischen Volksaufstandes entstanden. Am 12. November werden die
„Zabatak“-Gründer (arabisch: geschnappt) gemeinsam mit 17 weiteren
Gewinnern vor Vertretern der Vereinten Nationen, Regierungen und der
Privatwirtschaft in Graz ausgezeichnet. <br>

The Egyptian online platform „<a href="http://zabatak.com/">Zabatak.com</a>”
receives the UN Youth Award <a href="http://www.youthaward.org/">„World
Summit Youth Award“</a>. At Zabatak, citizens can notify incidents
of crime and corruption. It was initiated as a response to the rise
in lootings and assaults during the January uprisings in Egypt. On
the 12th of November, the founders of Zabatak (Arabic for “gotcha”)
will be awarded in front of UN, government and business
representatives in Graz, Austria.<br>
