<DIV>Fairfood International is a non-profit campaign and lobby organisation, which encourages the food and beverage industry to increase the level of sustainability of its products. In this way, Fairfood contributes to the fight against hunger and poverty across the globe.<BR><BR>For the front-office in Berlin the Communications department is currently recruiting a<BR><BR>*Project Manager Communications Germany*<BR><BR>* 36 - 40 hrs*<BR><BR>*Department*<BR><BR>The Communications Department's main responsibility is to support the lobby towards brand owners by acting as leverage and to create constant public awareness of the relationship between mainstream brand products and global hunger and poverty. The department is led by the Manager Communications and is responsible for 9 projects: E-campaigning, Creative Design, Website, Copywriting, Stunts NL, Press & Publicity NL, External Relations NL, Communications Germany and Communications UK. The projects are led by eight paid project leaders, each with the help of two to four project assistants.<BR><BR>*Function*<BR><BR>As Project Leader Communications Germany you are based at the front-office in Berlin and you are responsible for the public introduction of Fairfood International in Germany, as well as for safeguarding funding for the German projects of Fairfood International. You are responsible for public support of the lobby towards brand owners, in cooperation with the Manager Communications and other project leaders. You’ll be increasing Fairfood’s German network in the field of ngo’s, potential financiers, the media and other cooperation partners. In addition, you are responsible for the coordination, realisation and implementation of a range of online and traditional communication outings, that support the introduction of Fairfood International in Germany. As a project leader you manage a team of junior employees and you report to the Manager Communications. Furthermore, the project leader contributes to the development of the department’s policy.<BR><BR>*Your competences*<BR><BR>You have a higher education or university degree as well as some years of experience working in the field of communication. You are experienced in raising funds for a specific goal, initiative or organisation. You are a strong, diplomatic communicator. Being an efficient and natural networker, you know how to get in touch with the wide range of existing organisations, possible financial partners and media contacts .You take initiative, are result oriented and able to set priorities. You are a true pioneer in the sense that you’re experienced in setting up new initiatives in an unknown environment. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in German as well as English. Obviously, you have a close affinity with Fairfood’s goals.<BR><BR>*What we offer?*<BR><BR>We offer a versatile position within a young international organisation.
