vorstellen: mein Name ist Marie-Sophie Piltz, ich bin 23 Jahre alt und seit
2005 Studentin der Diplom-Journalistik und Kulturwissenschaften an der
Universität Leipzig. Nebenbei engagiere ich mich u.a. in der
Menschenrechtsarbeit (als Gruppensprecherin einer Leipziger Lokalgruppe von
amnesty international; besonderer Fokus auf das Thema Todesstrafe), bin
Stipendiatin der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung und berichte seit Herbst 2007 als
Redakteurin von <a href="http://www.du-machst.de/">www.du-machst.de</a> regelmäßig
über Möglichkeiten jugendlichen Engagements (politisch, sozial, kulturell). <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>Mein journalistischer Fokus liegt auf (inter-)kulturellen
und gesellschaftspolitischen Themen und ich schreibe als freie Journalistin für
Print- und Onlinemedien. Gerne würde ich später als Reporterin vom
afrikanischen Kontinent berichten und habe auch im Hinblick auf meine
Diplomarbeit Interesse an der afrikanischen Medienlandschaft, dem Afrika-Bild
in deutschen Medien, etc.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>2006 habe ich auf Vermittlung des Service Civil
International (SCI) an Workcamps in Nigeria (Lagos und kleinere Orte in Ogun
State) teilgenommen und später einen Artikel über die Diskriminierung
Behinderter in Nigeria in der Zeitschrift Africa Positive veröffentlicht. Im
Spätsommer 2008 werde ich erneut nach Nigeria reisen – zuvor steht aber
noch ein dreimonatiger Aufenthalt in Namibia an. Von März-Mai werde ich dort
als Praktikantin die Kulturredaktion der Allgemeinen Zeitung in Windhoek
unterstützen.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
