 Nairobi which links sport with environmental cleanups, AIDS prevention and media work. Started in 1987 as a small self-help project to organize sport events and cleanups within Mathare, one of the biggest slums in Africa, MYSA has grown to an internationally renowned youth serving organization which has twice been nominated for the Nobel Peace Price. <o:p></o:p></span></div>  <div class="news-title" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="" lang="EN-GB">MYSA´s Shootback program is a community media project which gives the most disadvantaged people of the community a chance to raise their voice: children and youths. Through Shootback young people have the chance to tell their own stories about their everyday lives in the Mathare slum by using different forms of media: Photo, video, radio and writing. Shootback encourages diversity, creativity and participation – the media as a tool for self emancipation through self participation is the main focus of
