The Prime Minister will address the GLOBE (Global Legislators<BR>Organization for a Balanced Environment) Berlin Legislators Forum in the German<BR>Bundestag, June 3-4. The Forum involving over 100 senior legislators will be<BR>agreeing on a forward looking statement on climate change. Chancellor Merkel of<BR>Germany and Prime Minister Abe of Japan will also both address the Forum by<BR>video. The Japanese Prime Minister will be represented in person by his<BR>National Security Advisor Ms Yuriko Koike MP.<BR><BR>?Law-makers have a fundamental role in shaping climate change legislation in<BR>their countries. Together with the private sector they can make a difference by<BR>recommending proposals that are not just politically realistic but also<BR>practical
and deliverable.
