The collapse of business models, driven by the rise of social media platforms and new content creators, coincides with significant cuts in international donor funding, forcing media outlets and media development actors to develop new strategies for resilience and sustainability. Join us for the launch of the State of Media Development Report: Sub-Saharan Africa as we unpack the report's key findings and examine practical approaches to enhancing the independence, viability, and public relevance of independent media across the region.
