[FoME] Invitation to Feb. 9 #Globaldev Communicators Connect - Let's Chill

Dear colleagues and friends,

Would you like to hang out and share words, images, or songs (created or
found) that buoy our spirits and renew our connection to each other?

In 2022, Jennifer Lentfer and I are again hosting #Globaldev Communicators
Connect

as part of the Healing Solidarity Collective
<https://collective.healingsolidarity.org/>. These are monthly meetings for
people who want more honest and in-depth conversations about working within
power asymmetries and global inequalities while trying to communicate about
"doing good." This is a ‘safe (and brave) space’ where we can build
community and talk about our everyday work dilemmas in re-imagining
narratives in the international aid and philanthropy sector.

On February 9th (from 10-11am EST, 3-4pm BST, 7:30-8:30pm IST), we want to
offer a sense of calm, community, and connection by offering “The Chill”
Salon for sharing poems that make room for ease, flow, pace, peace,
noticing…

There are many ways to participate, whether you’re a poet yourself or if
you haven’t read a poem since secondary school.  You’re welcome to share a
poem of your own or someone else’s or…just listen.

Everyone is welcome so feel free to invite your colleagues! (Share graphic
