[FoME] Announcing the UNDP 2020 Ocean Innovators and 2nd call for proposals

highlight that might be relevant is the adelphi GmbH, a Berlin-based NGO,
has been selected as one of the first cohort of Ocean Innovators.

The UNDP Ocean Innovation Challenge Team is very to share with you that
early morning yesterday, UNDP launched the revamped OIC website (
http://oceaninnovationchallenge.org) highlighting *the winners of the first
call for proposals on marine pollution (SDG14.1)*, and launching the
second *call
for proposals on Sustainable Fisheries*. There was also a UNDP press
release including quotes from UNDP Administrator and SG Special Envoy Peter

We are all very excited to be working with each of the nine 2020 Innovators
who are collectively applying a diverse range of innovative approaches to
addressing marine pollution.  The 2nd call will be open for two months,
until May 9. We hope to get a tremendous response like last year..
