Are you our next Social Media Campaigner?

Dear Friends,

MEDIA DIVERSITY INSTITUTE is seeking a social media campaigner to lead the strategic development, management, design, coordination, and delivery of the new phase of its Get the Trolls Out! project (GTTO) to counter hate speech against religious minorities in Europe. The next phase of GTTO will cover 7 European countries and is designed to challenge stereotypes, debunk discriminatory ideas, and shape public opinion by developing inclusive content and leveraging traditional and new media platforms. Applicants must have a minimum two years of relevant practical experience in successfully developing and executing trans-national social media campaigns in the field of diversity.

The Social Media Campaigner is expected to work 22.5 hours a week for 25 months. The salary will be £28,000 (min) to £33,000 (max) p.a. pro rata dependent on experience. The job is located in London but currently the MDI team is working from home until it's safe to return to an office environment.

 Interviews will be held the between the 27 January and 2 February 2021.
