#Challenge1918|2018|2118

is a multinational programme launched by the German Federal Foreign
Office and implemented by the European Academy Berlin. Its goal is to
inspire and empower young activists and prosumers, who follow the
current political, economic and cultural events, and are active in the
cyberspace (on YouTube, blogs, Instagram, podcasts, etc.). Challenge
#1918#2018#2118combines knowledge and experience exchange, empowerment
and action. Its purpose is to connect media ethics and journalistic
skills and professionalize digital reporting, while strengthening the
digital resilience to promote the ‘real’ discourse in the virtual
spaces.

The European Academy Berlin is currently looking for participants who
are active in digital space working pro-bone with YouTube videos,
podcasts, blogs, cartoons or memes and who would like to share their
experience about civic journalism with fellow Europeans. Participants
should be eager to prove themselves in a multinational team working on
challenging themes connected with the European past, present and
future.
