Dear all,

Thank you to those of you who actively participated to the Media
Against Hate project activities in 2017-2018. The project has received a
positive evaluation both internally and externally.

The MAH project’s resources and research are now all available online
( http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/cat/resources/) and
I encourage you to use them and share them in your work and networks.
The campaign website will remain active.

In particular, CMFE and COMMIT developed the Online Module “Inclusion
through Media
(
http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/online-module-inclusion-through-media/)
” based on the good practices and feedback collected during the media
literacy workshops.

Three other online modules were produced by the project partners:
- Online Module: Media Against ‘Hate Speech’
(
http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/online-module-media-against-hate-speech/)
(A19 / Training Module for media regulators and law enforcement
authorities)
- Online Module: How to counter hate speech and manage an online
community
(
http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/online-module-how-to-counter-hate-speech-and-manage-an-online-community/)
(COSPE / addressed to journalists, bloggers, media activists, social
media managers and professionals involved in the contrast of online hate
speech)
- Online Module: Ethical journalism practices on migrants and refugees
(
http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/ethical-journalism-practices-on-migrants-and-refugees/)
 (EFJ)

The report Responding to ‘hate speech’
(
http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/responding-to-hate-speech-comparative-overview-of-six-eu-countries/)
by Article 19 provides a comparative overview of legal and policy
responses to ‘hate speech’ in six EU countries: Austria, Germany,
Hungary, Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom.
The individual country reports are also available under
http://europeanjournalists.org/mediaagainsthate/cat/resources/

Kind regards and sorry for cross-posting - you may receive the links
also through other mailings.

Nadia
