Liebe Kollegen,
das ECPMF veranstaltet gemeinsam mit dem Europarat und mit zahlreichen anderen europäischen Organisationen (PEN International, Article19, IPI etc.) diesen Freitag, 24. März, ab 9.30 Uhr, eine internationale Konferenz mit dem Titel „ECPMF-ECtHR: Promoting Dialogue between the European Court of Human Rights and the Media Freedom Community“ in Straßburg. Wir erwarten 300 Teilnehmer aus mehreren europäischen Ländern.
Kernthema sind die Strafverfolgung von Journalisten und die Möglichkeiten der europäischen Rechtsprechung für die journalistische Arbeit.
Es berichten Whistleblower wie Antoine Deltour sowie mehrere Richter des Europäischer Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte.
