Conference: "Dynamics of Change: Media and the Public Sphere in Egypt",
Freie Universität Berlin, 8-10 December 2016

The conference offers the opportunity and space for actors from academia,
media, civil society, and politics from Egypt and beyond to discuss relevant
issues to the media in times of transformation and conflict. It is organized
on behalf of the Arab-German Young Academy for Sciences and Humanities by
Dr. Hanan Badr and Prof. Dr. Carola Richter. The keynote will be held by Dr.
Sahar Khamis at the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin on
December 8 at 7 pm.
