Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, 

Die Stiftung Partnerschaft mit Afrika e.V. (SPA e.V.) widmet sich am 28./29. November 2014 im Rahmen der Fortsetzung der Konferenzreihe

 „Pixel statt Kreide:
Deutsche und Afrikanische Schulen entdecken das Digitale Klassenzimmer“

in der Gesamtschule Bremen Mitte den Chancen und Hürden der digitalen Revolution für ein globales Lernen im Klassenzimmer. 

Klassische Unterrichtsutensilien erhalten immer mehr Konkurrenz von interaktiven Innovationen – Tablet statt Schreibblock, eReader statt Schulbuch, Whiteboard statt Tafel, Wikipedia statt Brockhaus-Kollektion und vielleicht bald Youtube statt Lehrer? Die digitale Revolution bietet nahezu unendliche Möglichkeiten – doch sind wir alle schon bereit? Die zweite Pixel statt Kreide Konferenz möchte Anreize setzen, um Hürden im digitalen Klassenzimmer gemeinsam in deutsch-afrikanischer Partnerschaft zu überwinden. Sie richtet sich an alle Bildungs(inter)aktiven und die, die es werden möchten. 
Die zweitägige Konferenz bietet zahlreiche interaktive Workshops für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Schüler können Virtuelle Welten erleben, mehr über Cybermobbing erfahren oder auch die eigene App kreieren. Lehrenden bieten die Seminare Einführungen zum richtigen Nutzen von Suchmaschinen, zu Social Media Plattformen, und vieles mehr. Auf dem Markt der Möglichkeiten können Sie innovative Projekte und Produkte, wie Samsungs Initiative: „Digitale Bildung Neu Denken“, Worldreader aus Ghana und viele andere, persönlich kennenlernen und austesten.
Die Veranstaltung ist kostenlos. Eine Anmeldung ist bis zum 23. November 2014 online möglich.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

The Partnership with Africa Foundation e.V. will address the chances and obstacles of the digital revolution for global learning
 in the classroom during the continuation of the conference series

 „Pixel vs. Chalk:
German and African schools explore the digital classroom“

The conference will take place on 28th & 29th November 2014 at the Gesamtschule Bremen Mitte, Germany.

Digital media became part of our world and it is almost impossible to imagine everyday life without digital devices. Classic teaching equipment is being challenged by new interactive innovations – tablet instead of paper, eReader instead of school books, Wikipedia instead of encyclopedia and maybe soon Youtube instead of a teacher? The digital revolution offers almost endless possibilities – but are we all ready yet? The second Pixels vs. Chalk Conference would like to encourage the participants to overcome obstacles in German-African partnership. The conference is addressed to everyone being (inter)active in education and those willing to get (inter)active. 

The two day conference will offer multiple (inter)active workshops for digital beginners and advanced users. Learners can explore virtual worlds, learn about cyber bullying or develop their own app. Teachers are offered seminars about how to use of search engines and include social media and apps in the classroom. At the fair of possibilities you will get the chance to meet innovative projects personally and test digital products, such as Samsung’s Initiative Digitale Bildung Neu Denken, Worldreader from Ghana and many more. 

The conference is free of charge. Registration online is open until 23rd November 2014.
