For a new radio project in the Middle East, MICT is seeking to fill 
several positions

MICT is implementing a new radio project in the Middle East. Activities 
include training a group of journalists from local radio stations in the 
region through a continuous coaching process by an editorial team based 
in Berlin. It also includes producing and broadcasting of a daily live 
radio programme.

For the implementation of the project, MICT is currently seeking a:

-*_Radio Editor (Arabic)_*

-*_Presenter (Arabic / Syrian)_*

-*_Music Editor (Arabic)_*

_All positions are full time positions in BERLIN, starting as soon as 
possible, latest 15^th September._

_Initial period until February 2014 (project extension possible)._

*Requirements:*

oNative Arabic ; working knowledge of English, German is an asset

oEducation in journalism and professional experience as radio journalist 
in the Middle East

oAbility to work and live in Berlin full time (existing work / residence 
permit is a strong asset)

oAbility to travel to the region if required


*Main Tasks:*

oEdit Arabic radio pieces that have been produced by local journalists 
from the region

oDevelop radio formats, topics, assignments to local radio journalists

oTrain the local journalists (distance editing / coaching through online 
communication)

oTogether with the MICT editorial team and the local journalists produce 
and broadcast a daily live radio programme
