[FoME] Key Experts for EU project wanted

Dear all,

MICT (Media in Cooperation and Transition) has been shortlisted as part 
of a Consortium by EuropeAid for a possible journalism training project 
for the ENPI (European Neighbourhood Policy Instrument) region between 
2011 and 2013 (36 months). Deadline for submission of the proposal is 
September 1, 2011.

MICT is now looking for 3 Key Experts for this project. Duty station 
will probably be Brussels.

The purposes of this project are as follows:

- Enhance access to comprehension among the wider public living in the 
ENPI beneficiaries countries about the EU policy, its relation with the 
ENPI beneficiaries countries, and its cooperation policy through 
improved media coverage;

- Reinforce the journalist’s capacity building in the field of 
independent media and on line media.


The Key Expert profiles are the following:

*Key expert 1: Team Leader (full time – 660 days)*

Qualifications and skills:

–    University degree or equivalent in professional experience in the 
field of journalism

–    Fluent in English and French

General professional experience

–    At least 10 years experience combined in journalism and media 
relations or communications

–    At least one year experience in one or several countries of the 
ENPI area

Specific professional experience

–    At least 2 years of professional experience in managing a complete 
training programme, as project leader

*Key expert 2: Head of training programme component one (part time - 330 
days)*

Qualifications and skills:

–    University degree or equivalent in professional experience in the 
field of journalism

–    Knowledge of the ENPI media landscape

–    Fluent in English and/or French

General professional experience

–    At least 3 years experience in designing and implementation of 
training programmes and activities in the field of journalism on 
international scale

Specific professional experience

–    At least 1 year experience as Head of training programmes in the 
field of journalism.

–    At least one year experience in training journalists related to EU 
knowledge.

*Key expert 3: Head of training programme component two (part time - 330 
days)*

Qualifications and skills:

–    University degree or equivalent in professional experience in the 
field of journalism

–    Knowledge of the ENPI media landscape, particularly on line media 
landscape

–    Fluent in English and/or French

General professional experience:

–    At least 3 years experience in design and implementation of 
training programme and activities and activities for journalists in the 
field of media freedom and independence

Specific professional experience

-    At least 1 years experience as Head of training programmes in the 
field of journalism.
