New: Global Cooperation Council Media Network

A new non-profit international media network that provides in-depth news and
analysis on issues related to genuine international cooperation, fair
globalization, and culture of peace is looking for partners and supporters
in Germany and elsewhere.

The media network is chaired by veteran Asian journalist and diplomat,
Mr.Ernest Corea, now basd in Washington DC. Its global editor is
Berlin-based Asian-German journalist Ramesh Jaura.

The media network has been launched by the Germany-based 'Global Cooperation
Council (Nord-Süd-Forum)' non-profit organization, with chapters in
Asia-Paciifc and North America [ ww.gc-council.org] in cooperation with
'Globalom Media' [www.globalommedia.com].

The media network includes: IDN-InDepthNews [www.indepthnews.net], Global
Perspectives [www.global-perspectives.info], Toward Nuclear Abolition [
www.nuclearabolition.net], Development Watch [www.develomentwatch.net] and
South Asian Outlook [www.southasianoutlook.com].


 The Global Cooperation Council's advisory board comprises, among others:

Mr. Toshiki Kaifu, Former Prime Minister of Japan

Ambassador Anwarul K. Chowdhury, Former Under-Secretary-General and High
Representative of the United Nations

Dr. Inge Kaul, Ex Director UNDP's Office of Development Studies
