Environment (GLOBE – www.globeinternational.org) are pleased to invite you to<o:p></o:p>

participate in a special program of activities for journalists at the upcoming Berlin<o:p></o:p>

Legislators Forum, Germany, on June 2-4, 2007. A special “on the job training<o:p></o:p>

Session” will be organized on June 2nd, which will serve as a preview of the<o:p></o:p>

Forum.<o:p></o:p>

The Berlin Forum is the third meeting of the G8+5 Climate Change Dialogue and<o:p></o:p>

also the first meeting of the G8 Illegal Logging Dialogue, both facilitated by<o:p></o:p>

GLOBE. The Forum will address the following key themes:<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

• Pathways for clean technology: what decisions do legislators and<o:p></o:p>

business leaders need to make to ensure delivery of technologies to<o:p></o:p>

market.<o:p></o:p>

• Forests & Climate: what role can avoided deforestation play in reducing<o:p></o:p>

emissions.<o:p></o:p>

• A future Framework for a post 2012 Climate Change Agreement.<o:p></o:p>

In conjunction with GLOBE, COM+ will host a series of activities on June 2-4 for<o:p></o:p>

journalists, including the ‘On-the-Job Training Program on Climate Change, the<o:p></o:p>

G8 Agenda and the Role of Avoided Deforestation in Reducing Emissions’.<o:p></o:p>
