Sie hat dazu Wolfgang Richter als Referenten gewinnen können. Er wird sich per Zoom aus Wien dazuschalten.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;color:black'>Wolfgang Richter (* 1949 in Bremen) ist Oberst a. D. der Bundeswehr und Associate Fellow beim Genfer Zentrum für Sicherheitspolitik (GCSP). Von 2010 bis 2022 war er als Experte für Verteidigungs- und Sicherheitspolitik bei der Stiftung Wissenschaft Politik (SWP) tätig. Als Diplomat war er auch mit der nuklearen und konventionellen Rüstungskontrolle und der europäischen Sicherheitsordnung im OSZE-Raum beschäftigt. In seinem Vortrag wird er sich mit europäischen und globalen Krisen und Konflikten beschäftigen, wird die neue US-Strategie analysieren und Perspektiven einer Antwort Europas darauf entwickeln. Richter vertritt eine deutlich rüstungskontroll- und verhandlungsorientierte Position: Abschreckung bleibt für ihn Realität, reicht aber nicht aus.
