Und noch einmal: „Hilfe! Die vergessene Katastrophe im Sudan/Südsudan“ Die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) bittet wie im vergangenen Jahr im Rahmen ihrer Weihnachtsspendenaktion 2025 um eine Spende zugunsten von „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“. Weit über 100.000 Euro sind in den letzten Jahren aus den Spendenaktionen der FI zu dieser Hilfsorganisation geflossen. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>„Ihr Engagement hat im letzten Jahr vielen Menschen im Sudan geholfen – und weit darüber hinaus gewirkt. Die Hilfe hat nicht nur konkrete Not gelindert, sondern auch ein starkes Signal der Solidarität gesendet“, schreibt „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“, „Danke, dass Ihr weiter an unserer Seite steht!“ Norbert Wienke, Geschäftsführer der Friedensinitiative Nottuln hofft, dass auch diesmal wieder viele Menschen helfen werden. Wienke: „Uns geht es so gut. Wir haben alles und können gut etwas abgeben.“ <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Auch 2025 setzte sich „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“ dafür ein, den am stärksten gefährdeten Menschen in der dramatischen humanitären Krise im Sudan ein Stück Würde und Hoffnung zu geben. Die Teams stehen den Menschen im Sudan sowie den Vertriebenen in den Nachbarländern Tschad, Südsudan und Äthiopien weiter zu Seite – mit medizinischer und humanitärer Unterstützung. Ihre Chancen, in naher Zukunft in den Sudan zurückzukehren, ist aufgrund der sehr instabilen und unsicheren Lage dort gering. Die Ärzte der Hilfsorganisation werden die Entwicklungen im Sudan weiter beobachten und auf neue Notfälle mit lebensrettender Hilfe reagieren.
