Auch in Coesfeld findet nun unter dem Motto „Coesfeld steht gemeinsam gegen rechts“ am Freitag, den 2. Februar eine Demonstration in Coesfeld statt. Diese wird um 17 Uhr auf dem Marktplatz starten. Über 50 Organisationen haben zu der Kundgebung aufgerufen, darunter auch die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI). Dies ist bereits die dritte Veranstaltung gegen Rechtsextremismus im Kreis Coesfeld statt. Hintergrund der Demonstrationen ist eine Recherche von „Correctiv“, die über ein Treffen von AfD-Vertretern mit Neonazis und Unternehmern in Potsdam Ende November berichtete.
