Zu einem Zoom-Vortrag lädt die Friedeninitiative Nottuln e.V. (FI) am Montag, den 7. November 2022 um 19.30 Uhr ein. Der Vortrag wird wieder in der ganzen Bundesrepublik zu sehen sein. Den Zoom-Zugang steht auf der Homepage der FI. Gleichzeitig wird der Vortrag über den Youtube-Kanal der FI gestreamt. Analysen und Perspektiven für diese gefährliche Region wird Jürgen Wagner vortragen. Wagner ist Politikwissenschaftler und geschäftsführendes Vorstandsmitglied der Tübinger Informationsstelle Militarisierung (IMI) e.V. und ausgewiesener Experte für diesen Raum. Noch vor kurzem erstellte er dazu eine ausführliche Analyse für den Bundestag. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Der Indo-Pazifik gilt als die Region, die absehbar ein mindestens ebenso großes Eskalationspotential in sich birgt wie es derzeit in der Ukraine zu sehen ist. Der Vortrag geht ausführlich auf die in diesem Zusammenhang zunehmenden westlich-chinesischen Konflikte ein und beschreibt, wie nicht nur die USA, sondern auch andere EU-Staaten und mittlerweile auch Deutschland damit begonnen haben, ihre militärische Präsenz in der Region auszuweiten und wie auch dies die Kriegsgefahr erhöht. Jürgen Wagner: „Ein Krieg zwischen den USA und den Verbündeten mit China droht. Und dieser Krieg wird global sein – neben dem Krieg in der Ukraine ein zweiter Brandherd, der für die Welt gefährlich werden kann.
