Am Hiroshimatag am 6. August laden Bürgermeister Dr. Dietmar Thönnes und die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) nicht nur zum Gedenken an die damaligen Opfer ein, sondern auch als Zeichen für den Frieden. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Einer japanischen Tradition folgend, werden am Hiroshimatag wieder Lichter auf das Wasser des Brunnens im Nottulner Ortskern ausgesetzt. August, Samstag) auch in Nottuln gedacht werden. Um 21.30 Uhr laden Bürgermeister Dr. Dietmar Thönnes und die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger zum kleinen Brunnen auf dem Stiftsplatz ein. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>„Die Gefahr, dass Atombomben eingesetzt werden, war noch nie so groß. Da mahnen die Opfer der Atombombenabwürfe auf Hiroshima und Nagasaki uns, für eine Welt frei von Atomwaffen einzutreten!“, heißt es in einer Pressemitteilung der FI. Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer werden gebeten, Kerzen mitzubringen, die auf den Rand des Brunnens gestellt oder zu Wasser gelassen werden. Jutta Schmalenbach wird zwischen den Ansprachen auf der Querflöte spielen und so für einen würdigen kulturellen Rahmen sorgen.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Landtagsabgeordnete hält Hauptansprache <o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Gabriele Mense-Viehoff wird für die FI das Gedenken eröffnen, nachdem die Glocken der katholischen Kirche verstummt sind. Die Hauptansprache wird Dorothea Deppermann halten, die seit der NRW-Wahl den hiesigen Wahlkreis in Düsseldorf als Abgeordnete von Bündnis 90/Die Grünen vertritt.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Brigitte Balmer-Landwehr wird als Vorsitzende der FI Nottuln an die Atomwaffenabwürfe auf Hiroshima und Nagasaki vor 77 Jahren erinnern. Balmer-Landwehr: „Der Krieg in der Ukraine dauert an. Das ist unerträglich. Eine Eskalation bis zum Einsatz nuklearer Waffen ist denkbar geworden. 77 Jahren nach dem Massensterben in Hiroshima und Nagasaki müssen wir in Europa mit der Drohung eines Atomwaffeneinsatzes leben. Die Forderung kann nur sein, alle Atomwaffen zu vernichten.“ <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><b><span style='font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Warnung vor nuklearem Wettrüsten <o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Koordiniert und organisiert wird das Hiroshima-Gedenken durch Gabriele Mense-Viehoff. Sie macht deutlich, worum es der FI auch geht: „Die Warnung vor dem nuklearen Wettrüsten der Atommächte und vor einem Atomkrieg in Europa, ausgelöst durch die Drohung der russischen Regierung mit einem Atomwaffeneinsatz, ist sehr real. Die FI setzt sich dafür ein, dass auch Deutschland dem Atomwaffenverbotsvertrag beitritt und sich international für Abrüstung und Klimaschutz einsetzt, statt Milliarden für ein Aufrüstungsprogramm zu verschwenden.“<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
