Viele Paten unterstützen dieses „Freiwillige Soziale Jahr“. Auch die Friedensinitiative Nottuln. Die lädt nun ein, einen kleinen Zwischenbericht von Lotta zu sehen und zu hören – am kommenden Montag, um 19.30 Uhr per Zoom. Zurückblickend hatte ich einige Highlights auf der Arbeit, die mich sehr bereichert haben. Ich habe Menschen kennengelernt, die durch die Kindertransporte nach England der Nazidiktatur entkommen sind. Sie erzählten ihre Geschichte und schilderten ihre Erfahrungen während der NS-Verbrechen. Es ist jedes Mal sehr emotional und ich empfinde solche Wertschätzung dafür, dass ich bei den Vorträgen zuhören darf. Lotta: „Wenn wir nicht in unseren Projekten sind, unternehmen wir Freiwilligen oft am Wochenende etwas zusammen und erkunden das kulturelle Leben der Stadt. Es gibt immer wieder Neues zu entdecken, hier wird es nie langweilig. Ich kann wirklich viele schöne Momente und Erinnerungen sammeln.“ Auch davon wird Lotta Aldenborg am Montagabend berichten.
