September auf. Die Demonstration beginnt um 12 Uhr am Schlossplatz. Die Nottulner Teilnehmer werden mit dem öffentlichen Bus nach Münster fahren und dort auf dem Schlossplatz rechtzeitig eintreffen. Auch die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) ruft zur Teilnahme auf. „Durch die Corona-Krise ist die Klimakrise in den Hintergrund gerückt. Aber sie ist weiter eine reale Bedrohung für unsere Zukunft. Wir müssen jetzt und deutlicher handeln und den Klimaschutz vorantreiben.“ Leonie Glanemann, Schülerin des Rupert-Neudeck-Gymnasiums und Aktivistin der Fridays-for-Future-Gruppe Nottuln macht deutlich, worum es bei diesem ersten Klimastreik zu Coronazeiten geht. Und die Streikteilnehmer werden in Münster auf die Kommunalwahlen aufmerksam machen. Im letzten Jahr hatte sich die Bewegung Fridays for Future bereits aktiv in die Nottulner Kommunalpolitik eingemischt und erreichen können, dass der Rat der Gemeinde Nottuln einen Klimaaufbruch verkündete. Und tatsächlich gehe Nottuln in einigen Bereichen vorbildlich voran, meint Leonie Glanemann. Norbert Wienke von der FI stimmt dem zu, fordert aber nun weitere Schritte zu gehen: „Wir fordern entschlossenes Handeln in der Klimakrise! Die Klimakrise ist, genauso wie die Coronakrise, schon jetzt eine reale Bedrohung von Menschenleben und wird, wenn wir nicht handeln, noch wesentlich schlimmere Folgen haben.“ „Deshalb sagen wir: #FightEveryCrisis – lasst uns jede Krise wie eine Krise begegnen. Und zwar mit Entschlossenheit und Solidarität!“, meint dazu die Nottulner Ortsgruppe von Fridays for Future.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'>Alle Teilnehmer werden gebeten, an eine Mund-Nasen-Bedeckung und die Abstandsregeln zu denken. “Neben Mund-Nasenschutz-Bedeckung als Pflicht und Abstandsregeln werden wir dafür sorgen, dass die Demonstration möglichst in kleineren, räumlich getrennten Gruppen durch die Stadt läuft, so dass es nicht zu einer Durchmischung kommt.
