Die Spendenbereitschaft für Menschen in Not ist auch in Nottuln und im weiteren Umfeld der Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) groß. 2500 Euro - das ist die erste Zwischenbilanz der Weihnachtsspendenaktion der FI. Dies teilte nun Norbert Wienke, Geschäftsführer der FI, mit. In diesem Jahr bittet die FI um Unterstützung für die Organisation „Tierärzte ohne Grenzen“. Die relativ kleine Organisation leistet in den Ländern Nordsudan, Südsudan, Äthiopien, Kenia und Somalia wichtige und sehr effektive Arbeit im Kampf gegen den Hunger. <br>Unter dem Motto „Wenn Tiere Leben bedeuten“ engagiert sich „Tierärzte ohne Grenzen“ seit mehr als 20 Jahren für Menschen in Afrika, deren Existenz von der Tierhaltung abhängt.
