Die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) lädt zu einem Vortrags- und Diskussionsabend mit diesem Titel ein. Am Montag, den 29.8.2016 kommt um 19.30 Uhr dazu Dr. Christine Schweitzer in die Alte Amtmannei. Dr. Schweitzer ist Wissenschaftlerin und Praktikerin in ziviler und gewaltloser Konfliktbearbeitung.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Mit unverminderter Härte wird der Syrienkrieg von allen Seiten fortgeführt. Die Städte versinken in Schutt und Asche. Die Menschen leiden - Tod und Verletzungen, Traumata und Flucht sind die Folgen. Und kein Ende scheint in Sicht, schreibt die FI in ihrer Einladung zu dem Abend. Ingeborg Bispinck-Weigand (FI): „Mit einer weiteren Veranstaltung zum Krieg in Syrien wollen wir uns der Herausforderung stellen, nach Alternativen zu Terror und Gewalt zu forschen. Das sind wir den Menschen in Syrien und den Flüchtlingen bei uns schuldig. Wegschauen geht nicht.“ Dr. Schweitzer geht in ihrem Vortrag auf die Hintergründe des Krieges im Land selber ein, gibt einen Einblick in die immer noch vorhandenen zivilgesellschaftlichen Widerstandsbewegungen und entwickelt Perspektiven auch im Umgang mit dem IS.
