Am kommenden Montagabend (3.1.) wird die Friedensinitiative Nottuln (FI) zu einem Vortrag nach Münster fahren und lädt zur Mitfahrt alle Interessierte ein. „Räume der Gewalt – Gewaltfreie Räume“ heißt der Titel einer Reihe, die jeweils montags um 19.30 Uhr im Forum der VHS Münster im Aegidiimarkt stattfindet. Das Thema an diesem Montag lautet: „Gewalt im christlich-religiösen Raum“. Referent ist Prof. Dr. Thomas Bremer, Wissenschaftler an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Für viele Menschen klingt die Zusammenstellung "Religion und Gewalt" wie ein Widerspruch. Doch zeigt sich historisch, dass viele Religionsgemeinschaften eine Gewaltgeschichte haben. Auch das Christentum lässt sich davon nicht ausnehmen. Es ist eine Religion, an deren Anfang ein Gewaltakt steht - die Kreuzigung, die in ihrer Lehre die Gewaltfreiheit betont, deren Anhänger aber in der Geschichte immer wieder für die Ausübung Gewalt verantwortlich waren. Diese theoretischen Überlegungen und konkrete Fälle sollen in dem Vortrag erörtert werden. Die Teilnehmer an dem VHS-Vortrag treffen sich am Montag um 18.45 Uhr an der Alten Amtmannei.
