und Bürger lesen aus Büchern von „Verbrannten Autoren“ und erinnern so an die
Bücherverbrennung 1933<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Coesfeld/Havixbeck. Zu einer Lesung besonderer Art laden die
NRW-Europaministerin Dr. Angelica Schwall-Düren und der Friedenskreis Havixbeck
e.V. am Sonntag, den 8. Mai um 11 Uhr nach Havixbeck in die Schul- und
Gemeindebibliothek an der Anne-Frank-Gesamtschule ein. „Nie wieder
Bücherverbrennung!“ heißt das Motto des Abends und vorgelesen werden Texte von
Autoren, deren Bücher vor 78 Jahren im Rahmen der Bücherverbrennung durch die
Nationalsozialisten verbrannt wurden. Zahlreiche Leserinnen und Leser –
prominente und weniger Prominente - konnten für diesen Abend gewonnen
werden u.a. Bürgermeister Klaus Gromöller, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Köhnlein,
Ensemble-Mitglieder der Theatergruppe „Das Törchen“, Klaus Wiethaup,
Monika Böse, Eva Wessels, Leiterin katholischen öffentlichen Bücherei St.
Dionysius, Schulleitungsmitglieder der Anne-Frank-Gesamtschule Havixbeck,
Hannes Niehaus, ehemaliger Leiter der Anne-Frank-Gesamtschule, und Franz-Josef
Janning, Buchhändler.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<h3><span style='font-weight:normal'>Lesen werden auch Mitglieder des
Friedenskreises und Dr. Angelica Schwall-Düren. Das kulturelle Rahmenprogramm
gestaltet Anna Bragina, Konzertgitarristin aus Petersburg<o:p></o:p></span></h3>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'> „Noch vor den Menschen und den
Synagogen brannten in Nazideutschland Bücher“, heißt es in der Einladung zu
dieser außergewöhnlichen Lesung. Mit so genannten Feuersprüchen („Gegen
Dekadenz und moralischen Verfall! Für Zucht und Sitte in Familie und Staat. Ich
übergebe der Flamme die Schriften von Bertolt Brecht, Heinrich Mann und
Erich Kästner“.) wurden Tausende Werke großer deutscher Autoren ins Feuer
geworfen. Das passierte im Mai 1933 in vielen deutschen Städten.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Europaministerin Schwall-Düren und der Friedenskreis Havixbeck e. V. an
